WIAW #26..Almost There!

Hey Loves :)

I hope everyone is having a great hump day. I have had one crazy week. School is coming to an end and I can taste it lol. I want it over so bad. I have been driving myself crazy between school and personal issues. I  will go into detail on the personal issues next Friday (May 11th.) When I have more time to be honest here.  So anyway on to the main reason for today. What I ate Wednesday courtesy of Jenn. Check out Peas and Crayons for so many bloggers wonderful eats.  On to my day.

I woke up around 7 and could not get out of bed. I was just so tired. I did not go to bed until 12:30 the night before because I was finishing an assignment. When I finally made it downstairs. I started breakfast.

Breakfast

I actually did something a little different. I decided to make One Healthy Chelsea’s version of Oatmeal. I had this once and it was great so I thought it would be perfect to start my day since I needed the inspiration lol. I love that this has fruit in it already, instead of me having it on the side. It is a nice change of pace. I will be doing things like this a lot in the future.

After Breakfast it was time for work. I love my new job but honestly right now I dread going just because school has me burnt out. I still prefer it over my old job but right now I would just love to sleep. Wouldn’t everyone really ? hehe. while at wokr I ate an apple.  I did not take a picture but I think everyone knows what an apple looks like. After work I came home and had lunch. I had something quick  because I had to be at my school to take an exam.

Lunch

A new recipe. I made Happy Herbivore’s Tofu Chilaquiles on Sunday and I made sure I had enough for the week. I followed the recipe exactly but instead of the whole jar of Salsa Verde I used 1/2 cup. I was afraid it would be too spicy. Next time I will use more because the flavor was not prominent.  Also I subbed peas for corn because I did not have corn. Today I ate this with some extra veggies. I had 1/2 cup of broccoli and 1/2 cup of string beans. I also had 1/2 cup of watermelon and 3 strawberries.

After my relaxing lunch I made my way to school. At school I took a final. I think it went ok. The professor ask for so much detail in the questions but we only had one hour and 30 minutes to take it.

When I got home I was starving so I made dinner.

Dinner

Started with a salad of course. 2 cups of lettuce and 2 strawberries drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

Happy Herbivore Red Lentil Dal 1/2 cup of eggplant, 1/2 cup of zucchini and 1 asparagus (only one left from the patch I made this weekend. I do not know how one wound up left though lol)

Workout

After Dinner I hit the gym. I did something different today. I am trying to challenge myself with the workouts and go out of my comfort zone. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes of which were running. That was actually the longest I have ever ran. I was so proud of myself and It felt great. I might do that more often. After that I did the elliptical for 30 minutes. I would do 2 minutes at level 2 then one minute fast at level 8 and I did that the entire time. When I got off my legs felt like Jello. It felt good but I did have an issue working right away. I just needed a good stretch. After that I went home and did one of the Tone It Up girls workout, the 8 sculpting moves. This was tuff! I was totally burnt after this in a good way like why. I did not think I had it in me to complete it but I made it through. Some moves I could not do but I did the best to my ability. Those girls make it look super easy lol.

Snack

After my intense workout I was hungry so I made Smoothie’s girl Protein Muffin. I tried it once before with Peanut flour and cocoa powder but I didn’t like the chocolate with the peanut taste so this time I made it with just peanut. I think next time I will use whole wheat pastry flour and cocoa to try it another way. This turned out great though and I love how big it is but at the same time low in calories. I topped mine with a teaspoon of white chocolate wonderful. Great combinations.

I didn't have a microwave bowl big enough for this. I need to get one though because it totally messes with the shape. Still tasted great though

After snack time I tried to do some homework but it was not happening so I just watched TV and wrote my blog.

Next Saturday (May12th) I graduate!! Only two more finals, a presentation and 2 more homeworks standing in my way! Ahh  I’m almost there.

    haha it’s like joking but i do had DCD plain for my breafast that day:)

    yes and the new version is much better than before…i think they’ve change the formula of sugar amount:)

      I think your right! because I notice the difference a lot.
